There are many parks to visit in Beijing, ranging from traditional Chinese gardens to modern theme parks with state-of-the-art attractions and rides.
For family fun and thrills, the Beijing Amusement Park is hard to beat, while for tranquillity and stunning temples, Beihai Park is worth visiting and is an impressive imperial garden on the north-western side of the Forbidden City, boasting an appealing waterfront setting. Other peaceful, Chinese gardens can be found within Zhongshan Park, Yu Yuan Tan Park, Hong Ling Jin Park and the outstanding Beijing Botanical Garden. Taoran Park
Taoran Pavilion Park is located in the south of Beijing's Xuanwu District. It covers 59 hectares out of which 17 hectares water surface .

Purple Bambaoo Park
Purple Bamboo Park is one of the seven largest parks in Beijing. It is situated at the southern end of Baishiqiao Road, with its eastern gate directly across the street from Capital Gymnasium.
Beijng Ming Dynasty City Wall Relics Park
Parts of the city wall in the park have been reconstructed from the original bricks of the wall that had been "borrowed" by some of the residence owners when they built their own houses along the wall.
Liuying Park
One of the city's best kept secrets, this park, with its lotus-laden lake and ample bamboo, is a prime spot for picnicking.
Longtan Park
Longtan Park is located about 1.5 km east of the Temple of Heaven. Next to the west side of Longtan Park is the Beijing Amusement Park that features a ferris wheel and other rides.
Chinese Ethnic Culture Park
This striking north Beijing attraction features 55 village gardens designed in the folk styles of 55 Chinese ethnic groups. Performances are held nearly every day and there are regular festivals.
Qingnianhu Park
The water park in Qingnianhu Park takes 15000 sq/m and has altogether 13 waterslides, mushroom shaped pools for kids, man-made waterfalls
Changpuhe Park
Changpuhe is also called Waijinshuihe, a pretty, renovated river park lying to the east of the Forbidden City. It was neglected, and for a long time lay hidden under stone slabs and warehouses.

Lianhuachi Lotus Park
It was redesigned in the late 1980s with a large lake and interesting features, including places to exercise, relax and have fun. It is a peaceful place to take a walk. It covers an area of 45 hectares (110 acres).
Rendinghu Park
Rendinghu is shielded from the city's bustle and noise. You'll find indoor and outdoor playgrounds.

Yuetan Park
Yuetan Park was built in Ming dynasty Jiajing period in 1530, and it used to be the place that the Ming and Qing Emperors used to sacrifice the Queen of Night. At present, it is one of the classic gardens in the capital and also belongs to one of the famous Five Altars and Eight Temples in Beijing.
